At Summer's End — What Ao and Mori See

Greetings on Our 2-Month Anniversary

In March 2026, Ao to Mori quietly launched in Fukuoka.

It was a small beginning, without grand advertisements or flashy announcements. Nevertheless, we have been supported by so many people: those who chose our first pair of shoes, those who introduced us to their family and friends, and those who sent us reviews and messages. We are truly grateful.

First and foremost, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude. Thank you.


Customer Feedback

In the two months since our launch, we have received many comments and inquiries. Here are some of them:

  • "I was drawn to the fact that it uses over 90% recycled natural rubber."
  • "They're comfortable for long walks and great for travel."
  • "They're simple, easy to match, and I wear them every day."
  • "The size exchange process was handled courteously and reassuringly."

Each voice is a valuable learning experience for us.


Future Initiatives

Ao to Mori is still a brand in its early stages.

Over the next few months, we plan to gradually implement improvements and take on new challenges.

1. Exploring New Materials

Currently, we are conducting various tests on strap materials and comfort.

While searching for more comfortable and durable materials, we will gradually work on new models.

2. Enriching Product Information

We plan to provide more detailed information, such as sizing, material feel, and wearing images, to ensure customers can confidently choose our products online.

3. Communicating the Story Behind Our Craftsmanship

Information about the materials, the workshop, and the reasons behind our designs.

Beyond simply selling products, we want to thoughtfully convey the underlying philosophy through this blog.


What Will Not Change

As the brand gradually grows, there are things we do not want to change.

  1. Crafting each pair with care.
  2. Being as honest as possible about our materials.
  3. Aiming to create products that people want to wear for a long time.

Instead of solely focusing on sales, we want to consistently offer shoes that make people feel, "I'm glad I chose these."

Now, the sandal season is finally beginning.
